Since last month, Iran and Pakistan are deporting Afghanistan refugees intensively. Many people started to notice the importance of UNHCR refugees and its statistics. In fact, most wars were caused by such UNHCR refugees whose origins are Gulag (jails for war criminals in Soviet). I already wrote many articles about UNHCR.

However, this data is very huge, and I have not understood the whole view. Since the current important mass purge of Afghanistan refugees from Iran/ Pakistan has a similarity when the first anti-communist Reconquista regime (Eisenhower/ Kennedy/ Khrushchev) was purged, I would like to analyze the UNHCR data of 1950s-1970s.

Background

After the WWII was over, the post-war liberals revised constitutions and laws dramatically. They also held many war criminal courts such as Nuremberg Trials in Germany, Tokyo Trials in Japan, etc. However, war criminals’ side also prepared for a coup to take a vengeance. The globalists/ imperialists secretly helped war criminals by pretending as refugee project. (Displaced Persons Act, Refugee Convention in 1951) Korean war occurred from 1950 to 1953. The UNHCR data started in 1951 because of the 1951 Refugee Convention.

In my understanding, Korean war was the first Reconquista attempt by Japanese war criminals. During WWII, it was Mitsubishi (as a part of Japan Steel) who developed the mining industry in North Korea. Of course, the main target of Nagasaki Atomic bomb was the factory of Mitsubishi. It is likely that Eisenhower and Khrushchev kind of anti-communist regimes were made by such remains of Japanese war criminals because both regimes in US and Soviet started in 1953, the year of the end of the Korean War.

During Khrushchev era, he released all of Gulag prisoners and conducted anti-Stalin policy. Some of such released Gulag prisoners went to Afghanistan as a part of Helmand Valley Development Project (originally started by Japanese Empire/ Austria- Bavaria Nazi in 1930s, and resumed by Hoover faction of US after WWII). The Helmand Valley Project was taken over by USAID (founded by JFK in 1961). As a part of this project, there was a resettlement project of “Nomadic People” (Pashtuns), and Gulag prisoners settled in Afghanistan/ Pakistan border as such nomadic people. In US, Eisenhower (Republican) started such anti-communist policy, and Kennedy strengthened it although he was a democrat. Both regimes aimed to privatize nuclear development. Kennedy pretended as a peace deal to force Soviet (government/ army) to discard nuclear weapons, however, he encouraged private sectors to have/ develop nuclear.

In any case, the post-war liberals noticed the danger of such anti-communist regimes. And anti-communist regimes emerged after the countries accepted UNHCR refugees. It is likely that all of Eisenhower, Kennedy and Khrushchev were “Displaced Persons” (UNHCR refugees). So, some European government started to purge such UNHCR refugees since the late of 1950s. Many of them exiled to US and Africa (especially Congo, Tanzania and Uganda). After the assassination of Kennedy in 1963, the unusual mass migration happened. I call such people as “Kennedy refugees”.

In this article, I mainly try to trace the destinations of the Kennedy refugees. In short, some of them were killed during the Great Cultural Revolution in China by Maoists. But many of them escaped the great purge, and moved to Congo/ Uganda/ Tanzania etc. kind of East Africa. The places are very similar to the first mission of CENTCOM.  Others suddenly arrived in Lebanon in 1976 and they disappeared in 1978, the year of the UN peacekeeping force UNIFIL in Lebanon. I suspect that they are counted as Palestine refugees since a certain time. In fact, UNRWA often hired teachers with East African faces/ names. Also, the category of “Palestinian” as the origin of refugees suddenly appeared in 1976. UNRWA does not publish statistics.

Let’s check the details of the statistics about the Kennedy refugees.

Refugee Trend in 1950s – Refugee Act and Establishment of ECSC/ ECC

The statistics of UNHCR Refugees starts in 1951, the year of the 1951 Refugee Convention. It was also the year when the Displaced Persons Act actually started.

In 1951, UNHCR refugees were mostly accepted by US, France, Austria, Germany and UK. All of such refugees are origin: unknown.

In 1952, US accepted more refugees and it may have led the emergence of Eisenhower regime. Or, I personally suspect that Eisenhower himself was a part of UNHCR refugees because he conducted the allied invasion of Italy during WWII from Algeria and Morocco. During WWII, MERRA managed refugee camps (for those who ousted by German/ Soviet mass purge of Habsburg factions in Europe) in North Africa.

On the other hand, Germany and UK already started to deport such refugees right after they accepted refugees in 1951. Or, such refugees moved to other countries to seek for the opportunities. In 1956, UK experienced a slight increase of refugees. The origin of EU – ECSC (European Coal and Steel Community) was established in 1951 based on the Treaty of Paris (1951) - maybe by the displaced persons/ UNHCR refugees. Since then, ECSC faction tried to hijack European politics by European Political Community (1952) and European Defense Community(1952). Their attempt was failed once. However, the same people held Messina Conference in 1955 and established European Economic Community (ECC) and EURATOM in 1957. So, there was an attempt of the coup by the war criminals of WWII (mining industry was one of the forced labor themes) around 1955-1957. This attempt may cause the increase of refugees in UK in the years.

France also reduced the number of refugees until 1954, however, it suddenly accepted additional refugees in 1955. At that time, Charles de Gaulle already left the politics although he came back in French politics in 1958. So, Charles de Gaulle faction deported the UNHCR refugees in 1959, 1962, and 1970. However, Chirac stopped such trend of anti-refugees. As you see, the recent refugee acceptance by Macron in France is very unusual. It is likely that he intentionally accepted UNHCR refugees (namely ISIS) and cooperated to conduct the coup against Charles de Gaulle France.

The Reconquista by the war criminals of WWII started by the 1951 Refugee Convention and Korean War. However, post-war liberals also fought against the anti-communists. Aside from Germany, UK and France (after the revival of Charles de Gaulle), there were several countries which experienced the decrease of refugees until the late of 1950s such as Austria, Belgium, Sweden, Greece, Italy, Netherland, Norway, and Denmark. Many countries may have purged such refugees.

However, as for Austria, the independent state of Austria was established in 1955. So, perhaps, such decrease happened by another reason (the refugees got nationalities in the new Austria etc.).

Refugee Trend in 1960s – Congo and Kennedy Refugees

As anti-communist refugees had spread to the world since 1951, post-war liberals also fought against them. In 1960s, such purge/ war became intensified and it is called Cold War. In the end, the prince of anti-communist Kennedy was killed in 1963, and it automatically caused the fall of his counterpart in Soviet – Khrushchev.

Around the death of Kennedy, some mysterious phenomena are found in the statistics. For example, as I stated in the past article, the total number of migrants (immigrants – emigrants in each country) became far from zero. Normally, one emigrant is counted as an immigrant in another country. So, the total of migrants is close to zero in worldwide sense. However, the refugees triggered by the death of Kennedy (purge of the Kennedy faction) caused such mysterious phenomena.

Assumingly, so many people cooperated with Kennedy and they had to run away from arrest. In UNHCR data, more than 1 million of such Kennedy refugees appeared around Hong Kong and Macao (the top yellow line in the chart below) in 1964-1966, and they disappeared. Maybe some of them were killed as a part of Maoism Revolution in China (Great Cultural Revolution). However, many of them secretly ran away to other countries such as East Africa, Middle East (Lebanon?), and India. In 1960s, there was a dramatical increase of refugees in Congo. As for the Kennedy refugees who arrived in Lebanon and India, the data will appear in 1970s.

Such Kennedy refugees often exiled to Congo and East Africa. In 1960, Congo suddenly appeared on the top refugee acceptance countries, although it did not have any refugees until 1959. Uganda, Burundi (namely, the cause of Rwanda genocide!), Tanzania, Senegal, and Togo also experienced the increase of refugee acceptance in the late of 1960s. On the other hand, France and Germany deported such refugees. So, such people who were purged in Europe may have gone to East Africa. Needless to say, such Kennedy refugees who arrived in the East Africa were the origin of the first mission of CENTCOM (Kenya, Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, etc.) In addition, perhaps, they are the origin of “Palestine refugees” (appeared only since 1970s in UNHCR data) and refugees related to Kosovo/ Yugoslavian war in the 1990s.

Interestingly, the country of origin of such 150000 refugees who arrived in Congo is written as “Angola” although Angola never accepted refugees until 1960. So, it is likely that Angola was a just transit point that Kennedy refugees exiled to Africa via sea route (Vasco da Gama route). They were stateless people or needed to conceal the origin for a certain reason.

The following chart is about the refugees who arrived in Congo (color: the country of their origin). Their origins are written as Angola, Rwanda, Sudan, Zambia and Unknown although all of such countries never accepted refugees until then. So, it just shows their refugee travel routes.

Refugee Trend in 1970s – Unknown Refugees, Lebanon, Palestinians, and Somalia

Since 1951, destination: unknown refugees had existed. However, their numbers became extremely big in the 1971 (more than 800k). And they suddenly disappeared in 1977 (one year before the Saur revolution in Afghanistan). The destination: unknown refugees became top in 1971, and they were replaced by the 700k refugee acceptance in Lebanon (origin of Palestine refugees?) in 1977. Also, Somalia refugees suddenly appeared in 1977, and became the top refugee acceptance country in 1979. Since 1979, Pakistan and Iran started to accept the Afghanistan refugees. Since 1981, Afghanistan refugees became the largest refugee group. I already explained about the Afghanistan refugees in another article.

Destination: Unknown Refugees

When I tried to check the detail of such destination: unknown refugees, a further serious issue was found. UNHCR concealed a large number of destination: unknown refugees (about 10 million!) from India in the category of “returned refugees”, but not shown in the normal category of UNHCR refugees. The following line chart shows how these Indian origin returned refugees in 1972 was exceptional in this statistics. Although it says “returned refugees”, it is very strange that their destination is not India, but “unknown”. In 1970s, the total refugee number was still around 2 million, so the numbers of Indian origin returned refugees are really big. UNHCR also used such trick when they counted refugees in Myanmar as Stateless People and Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs).

These Indian origin Returned Refugees disappeared from the statistics in 1973. The number is very huge. But I could not find any country which experienced a significant population increase/ immigrants around 1972-73. Some of them may have been absorbed to destination: unknown refugees, refugees in Lebanon, Somalia etc.

But I personally suspect that many of these Indian returned refugees cooperated with anti-communists to conduct a constitutional coup in Pakistan in 1972 (abolition of the de facto army government), and coup in Afghanistan in 1973 (conducted by Khrushchev faction, Daoud). Their number is surely exceptional, so, I think that they are Kennedy related refugees. In fact, Kennedy supported India a lot, and it caused the India-Sino war in 1960s. If such Indian returned refugees went to Afghanistan/ Pakistan around 1971-1973, I can understand why Soviet had to "invade" Afghanistan in 1978 (but not in the middle of 1960s - the era of the purge of Khrushchev).

In fact, it seems that the resettlement project of Nomadic people had at least two phases. The one was conducted since 1951 (maybe the Gulag fugitives released by Khrushchev). And the next resettlement happened in 1971-1978 (until the invasion by Soviet).

So, the second phase of the resettlement project was likely to have dealt with Kennedy refugees or the 10 million Indian "retuned refugees".

Google says that the second resettlement project was conducted in 1973-78. In 1973, the Indian 10 million returned refugees disappeared from the UNHCR data.

Palestine Refugees

The 1970s was also the era when refugees whose origins are "Palestinians" (not country's name but ethnic group name) suddenly appeared in the UNHCR data. They appeared first in Algeria in 1976, and then, disappeared. Perhaps, they were absorbed in the refugees in Lebanon in 1977. In 1980s, they moved to Syria, but it was only after 1990s when Palestinian refugees became a relatively big group.

Somalian Refugees

One more notable refugee group in the 1970s was Somalian refugees. Somalia suddenly accepted 500k refugees in 1977, and then, the number continued to increase dramatically. There was a war between Somalia and Ethiopia in 1977 (Ogaden war). So, the majority of refugees in Somalia was from Ethiopia. There was also an abolishment of monarchy in Ethiopia in 1974. Maybe such monarchists exiled to Somalia.

Ethiopia had been a place of proxy war between Italy (republic) and UK (monarchists). Normally, UNHCR only helps monarchist refugees. So, such monarchist refugees from Ethiopia spread to Somalia (and then, to the world - but it is a story of 1980s). In 1970s, Ethiopian refugees also exiled to Sudan. Ethiopian refugees to Somalia leaped to 2 million. So, perhaps, Kennedy refugees already contained in the number. Kennedy refugees also moved to Africa by sea route (including the east coast).

This is the summary of the refugee trend in 1950s - 1970s. I will investigate the further details of Kennedy refugees who arrived in the East Africa in the future.
